Websites that do a job.
Landing pages, business websites and web applications with a clear purpose and a considered experience.
REMOTE TECHNICAL CONTRACTING
Practical development for the work you need to move forward. Start small, see the result, then build a longer partnership.
01 / WHAT WE CAN BUILD
For businesses and teams with something to launch, connect, simplify or fix. One focused brief is a good place to start.
Landing pages, business websites and web applications with a clear purpose and a considered experience.
Internal dashboards, lightweight portals and purpose-built tools that make everyday work easier to manage.
Connect existing services, reduce repetitive steps and improve the workflows holding your team back.
02 / A SIMPLE WAY TO START
A paid trial creates a practical starting point. You can assess the work before discussing an ongoing contract.
Tell us what needs to change. We review the brief, dependencies and access, then agree the deliverable, price and timing in writing.
A small, bounded piece of work. Progress and questions are shared remotely, with the agreed output delivered for your review.
Review the result. If there’s a fit, submit a contract proposal for the next phase. Continuing is a separate agreement.
03 / START SMALL
Choose the starting point closest to your brief. Enquire about a £150, £250 or £400 trial. We confirm the deliverable and timing in writing before you book.
A small technical issue or tightly scoped improvement to an existing setup.
Example: fix a broken form or improve one page.
A compact, standalone deliverable that turns a clear brief into something tangible.
Example: a landing page or simple internal tool.
A more involved trial for an integration or a clearly bounded feature.
Example: connect two services through an API.
All prices shown in GBP. Timing, payment schedule, revisions, tax treatment and any third-party costs are agreed in the written quote before work starts. A request does not create a booking or charge.
04 / AFTER THE TRIAL
Independent contractor? Send your expertise, portfolio, availability and proposed terms. Have a completed trial or an ongoing project in mind? Include its reference and the scope you propose. Every engagement is reviewed separately.
Reviewed together. Agreed in writing.
A small, paid piece of work with a defined deliverable. It gives both sides a chance to assess communication and delivery before discussing a larger engagement. It is not an unpaid sample or a subscription.
We agree a communication channel, working expectations and review points at the start. Your brief, decisions and handover are documented so the work can move forward without constant meetings.
A short description of the problem, the result you want, relevant links and your target timing. If work involves an existing system, the necessary access and dependencies are reviewed before scope is confirmed. Never send passwords or sensitive credentials through a brief.
After the scope, schedule and commercial terms are agreed and any required access or payment arrangements are in place. Availability and delivery dates are confirmed individually.
Changes outside the agreed scope are discussed and quoted before additional work proceeds. The trial is kept bounded so everyone knows what is being delivered.
Ownership, source access, third-party licences and handover requirements are set out in the written agreement. Raise any specific intellectual property or confidentiality requirements before the trial begins.
No. An ongoing engagement is optional and requires a separate agreement. After the trial, you can submit a proposal for a new project or recurring work.
YOUR NEXT STEP DOESN’T NEED TO BE A BIG ONE.
